Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. These terms
These terms apply to cleaning services provided by My Reset (“My Reset”, “we”, “us”), and to your use of this website. By booking a service with us you agree to these terms. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer. You can contact us at hello@myreset.co.uk.
2. Our service
We provide turnover cleaning for short-let and holiday-let properties, with optional extras such as fresh linen, restocking checks, deep resets and same-day turnarounds, as described on our website or agreed with you in writing.
3. Estimates and quotes
The instant estimate on our website is a guide price range only, based on typical properties of the size and location you enter. It is not a binding offer. Before your first clean we will confirm a written quote for your property, which may differ from the online guide once we know the property’s condition, layout and access. The confirmed quote is the price that applies.
4. Bookings, access and your responsibilities
Bookings are confirmed in writing (including email or messaging). You agree to give us accurate information about the property, safe and lawful access at the agreed time (keys, key safes or codes), working utilities (water, electricity and, where relevant, heating), and to tell us about anything that could affect the clean or our team’s safety — including pets, building works or known hazards. If we cannot access the property at the agreed time, or conditions make it unsafe or impractical to work, we may charge for the visit.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are per turnover unless we agree otherwise, and are stated in pounds sterling. Invoices are payable by the date shown on the invoice. If an account is overdue we may pause scheduled services and charge statutory interest and reasonable recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where it applies.
6. Cancelling or moving a clean
Plans change — we just ask for notice. You can cancel or reschedule any booked clean free of charge with at least 48 hours’ notice. For cancellations with less notice we may charge up to the full price of that clean, because staff and time will have been reserved for you. If we ever need to reschedule (for example, severe weather or illness), we will tell you as soon as possible and will not charge for the affected visit.
7. Your 14-day cancellation right
If you are a consumer and we agreed your service at a distance (online, by email or by phone), you have the right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel the contract within 14 days of entering it, without giving a reason, by sending us a clear statement (an email is fine). If you asked us to start work during that 14-day period, you must pay for the services provided up to the point you cancel.
8. Our standards
We will provide services with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and we hold public liability insurance. If anything about a clean isn’t right, tell us within 24 hours of the visit and we will return to put it right where reasonably possible, or agree an appropriate remedy with you.
9. Keys and security
Keys and access codes are stored securely, are not labelled with property addresses, and are only issued to the team member assigned to your property.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or normal wear and tear, for items broken because they were already unstable or damaged, for guests’ belongings left in the property, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made; and our total liability in connection with any clean is limited to the price paid for that clean, except where the law provides otherwise.
11. Complaints
If something goes wrong, email hello@myreset.co.uk and we will acknowledge your complaint promptly and work with you to resolve it. This does not affect your legal rights, including your right to bring a claim or to use alternative dispute resolution.
12. This website
Website content is provided for general information and may change at any time. The design, text and branding on this site belong to us or our licensors — please don’t copy or reuse them without permission, and don’t attempt to disrupt the site or misuse its forms.
13. General
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time you book applies to that booking. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts).
